Purpose of the Association, Areas of Work, and Activity Forms:
Article 2
The purpose of the Association is to bring together companies producing generators, cogeneration, trigeneration, hybrid systems linked to renewable energy, diesel, natural gas, LPG, propane, synthesis gas, biogas, and other gaseous and hydrogen-fueled power systems, electrical storage, alternators, containers, control systems, and other major components of power systems under one roof. The Association aims to solve sectoral issues in the activities of the firms represented by its members, ensure quality and capacity development, organize training, certification, workshops, congresses, and other activities related to the sector, collaborate with public institutions and other relevant organizations within and outside the country to enhance the reputation of Turkish products abroad and provide value-added products and services. Additionally, it seeks to contribute to the development of technical and regulatory legislation and standards, promote competency enhancement and the dissemination of best practices, and work towards improving the net export capability of the Turkish economy.
a. Areas of Work and Forms of Activities to be Undertaken by the Association:

Contributing to sectoral development, sharing experience, providing technical coordination and support.

Supporting the personal and professional development of members in light of innovations in professional, sectoral, technological, economic, and social fields, and promoting and disseminating a culture of effective working, work ethics, and business ethics.

Supporting fair, transparent, inclusive, and accessible competitive market development.

Providing education, awareness, and development for users, buyers, customers, operators, trainers, students, and industry members of all products and systems mentioned in the Association's purpose section, signing protocols with relevant institutions and organizations, conducting joint work, and issuing certificates, compliance documents, etc.

Organizing and/or participating in fairs, campaigns, programs, courses, seminars, conferences, and panel studies for members and other beneficiaries.

Procuring all necessary information, documents, publications, and creating a documentation center, publishing articles, magazines, books, newsletters, opening websites and portals, preparing printed or electronic materials, or collaborating with relevant organizations in this field.

Providing a suitable working environment to achieve the purpose, procuring all necessary technical equipment, fixed assets, and stationery materials.

Collecting donations and accepting contributions from within and outside the country, provided that the necessary permissions are obtained.

Establishing economic, commercial, and industrial partnerships to obtain the necessary income for achieving the statutory purposes. Establishing and operating economic enterprises and/or funds as decided by the General Assembly.

Organizing social activities to develop and maintain human relations among members.

Purchasing, selling, leasing, or renting movable and immovable properties required for Association activities, and establishing real rights on immovables.

Establishing foundations, federations, or joining existing federations, and establishing facilities that associations can establish with permission if deemed necessary.

Engaging in international activities, becoming a member of associations or organizations within and outside the country, collaborating on projects, organizing and participating in trips, training, seminars, and mutual aid.

Implementing projects in areas of responsibility defined by law in relation to public institutions and organizations.

Opening representations for conducting Association activities in required locations.

Creating platforms for achieving common goals with other associations, foundations, unions, and similar NGOs in areas related to the Association's purpose and not prohibited by law.

Ensuring and encouraging compliance of members with national and international regulations in their sector.

Sending representatives to sectoral meetings within and outside the country.

Providing consultancy services to institutions, organizations, and individuals working in the sector, utilizing experts from within or outside the country, employing them when necessary, and establishing or developing relationships with existing expert commissions.

Creating sectoral committees with the approval of the Board of Directors.

Providing legal and social guidance to members, their affiliated organizations, other associations and professional chambers related to the sector, and other relevant organizations.

Monitoring and integrating new technologies and practices developed in the sector into the country, conducting or commissioning R&D activities based on members' common demands.

Establishing or cooperating with technical laboratories required in the field, and purchasing services from them.

Establishing and enhancing dialogue between the sector and public institutions, and working on the development of regulations, laws, standards, etc., in cooperation with relevant public institutions representing the energy and power systems sector in Turkey.

Representing the Turkish machinery industry, industry, and all related sectors on international platforms, areas, fields, organizations, and NGOs, and also federations/confederations as decided by the Board of Directors.

Participating in and supporting projects, training, and other activities related to the energy and power systems sector, including sponsorship agreements.

Providing financial and moral support to projects, activities, and events that focus on social responsibility or public benefit as decided by the Board of Directors.

Acting as an arbitrator in resolving disputes and professional conflicts among members or between members and their clients upon request.

Conducting activities to ensure the sustainable development of the sector, addressing climate change, and contributing positively to environmental compatibility.

Conducting activities on common issues in the sector for firms with legal personality that belong to the members of the Association.

Carrying out research and studies to ensure sectoral cooperation and development in terms of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Establishing social-purpose educational, recreational localities, and facilities for members and sector employees.

Encouraging digital transformation and innovation in the sector, facilitating information and experience sharing among members, developing digital tools and platforms for members, or assisting in the effective use of existing digital tools.

Organizing trainings and workshops on green energy and sustainability.

Developing internship and mentorship programs for young professionals and students.

Assisting members with intellectual property rights awareness and protection, exploring and facilitating national and international technology transfer opportunities.

Creating programs to support disabled and disadvantaged individuals in accessing job and education opportunities in the sector.

Conducting activities in full compliance with legal regulations.
b. Activity Area of the Association:
The Association operates to facilitate and enhance activities in the fields of generator and power systems production, sales, marketing, export, and after-sales services. It collaborates with national and international individuals, institutions, and organizations engaged in these areas.
